What sets Cate apart? Her work ethic, strong desire to please others and superior attention to detail.

Before joining BCG in 2015, Cate spent nearly ten years in Media Sales. During her years as a Media Rep, Cate thrived using her expert organizational skills and strong people skills to build relationships with Media Buyers within the city of Chicago and station clients all over the country. Cate’s hard work as an Account Executive at Katz Media Group was recognized with the “National Rep of the Year” award by BonTen Media Group.

Cate helps make any client’s vision come to life!

At Barcelona Creative Group, Cate continues to stay true to her exceptional communication abilities. Working closely with her team, Cate is able to get to the heart of what the client needs and bring their vision to life. Along the way, she has begun to learn about the business and has grown into a full-fledged copywriter. She’s ambitious, always ready to take on whatever comes next and eager to find better solutions to any problem. Because of her empathetic ear and commitment to both her team and the client, it’s very rare that Cate misses a beat. Her voice, often expressed through the written word, takes messages to the next level, generating high-quality results for client marketing campaigns.

While Cate’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, family members and close friends. And, when she’s able to find some time to herself she likes to try new restaurants with friends or family, run, read, relax, golf, shop, cook, bake or work on her yard at home. Even in her down time, she’s always staying busy!

Let’s Talk!

Get To Know Cate…

  • What is one thing you like about working with your family and one thing you don’t like?

I like knowing that I will see my family members at least once a week. But, it can be difficult to put your “work face” on when something family-related is bugging you. Because you can never let your personal family issues prevent the work from getting done.

  • Describe the soundtrack of your life in 3 to 5 songs.

I have 6, which is so fitting of my tendency to over-elaborate!

    • “I’ll be there for you” by the Rembrandts
    • “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart
    • “Just to see you smile” by Tim McGraw
    • “Lake Shore Drive” by Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah
    • “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire
  • What excites you most about your work and the contribution you make?

It’s exciting to learn new things, which I’ve been doing since day one and continue to do every day. I feel I contribute with fresh insight, ideas and a different perspective.
